Custom Gem Commissions at Beryl and Blade
Every gemstone I cut is done individually on my faceting machine, an Ultratec V5. If you have a specific gemstone, color, or design in mind, I’m happy to explore creating a custom-cut stone just for you.
Commissions are a collaborative process. You can come with a clear idea (for example: a teal sapphire in a round cut), or simply describe the kind of gemstone you’re looking for - color, size, shape. From there, I’ll work out what material and design would best achieve it.
Because every stone starts as rough material and are naturally formed, some ideas may not always be possible depending on availability, shape of the rough, or clarity of rough.
How commissions work
- Submit the request form with as much detail as you can.
- I’ll review the request and reply within ~5 working days with feasibility, estimated timeline, and pricing.
- If everything looks good, we’ll confirm the design and a deposit will be required before cutting begins.
- The stone will then be cut, finished, and posted to you.
Typical commission timelines are 4-6 weeks, though some stones may take longer depending on the material, design, and my availability.
A few things to note
- This form is a request, not a confirmed order.
- Final pricing and timeline will be confirmed before work begins.
- Since each stone is custom cut specifically for the commission, commissions are generally non-refundable and non-returnable.
- I’m based in Singapore, and all stones are cut here.
