Tanga Garnet - 1.23ct 5.8mm x 5.8mm. Tanga garnets are from a recent mine find in Tanga, Tanzania that produced top color and bright garnets! They command a premium in the market, and this was a singular piece of rough I bought. A really bright and high light return gem - can't wait to get more and cut more.
