Amethyst - 3.7ct 9.1x9.1mm. A masterful design combining 154 facets and a technique called frosting, where certain facets are left unpolished to create contrast. This gem looks stunning in person, much unlike any other gems you'll find in stores. A great size and color on this one too. It's a very laborious design, so I'm not sure when I'll find time to do another one - don't miss your chance!
